Judy Lee Gendek (formerly Smith) died December 30, 2010 at home after a long fight with lung cancer.

Born in Flemington, NJ on January 17, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Dorene Antes and Peter Gendek Sr. She was a glass etcher for Vandermark Merritt and worked for many years at Schaefer Farms in Flemington, NJ. She loved the outdoors and gardening as well as bird watching and crafting. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her life was her family. She enjoyed special holidays and family vacations in the Hamptons.

She is survived by her daughters & son-in-laws: Mary & Scott Schuetz of Milford, NJ, Jennifer & John Willis of Flemington, NJ and Amy & George Quinones of Phillipsburg, NJ, her long time friend Jim Miller of Hopewell, NJ, her sisters: Mary Jones of Equinunk, PA and Patricia Gender-Sutton of Phillipsburg, NJ, her five grandchildren: Alyssa & Brandon Schuetz of Milford, NJ, Damian & Samara Quinones of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Jocelyn Willis of Flemington, NJ, her beloved dog Minnie and many nieces and nephews.

Her brother Peter Gendek Jr. passed away in 2008 and her ex-husband and lifelong friend John Smith in passed away in 2009.

Memorial services will be held Sunday January 9, 2011, at 12:30 PM at the Alexandria First Presbyterian Church, 141 Little York-Mt. Pleasant Rd., Milford, NJ.
