Karen Bentzinger Obituary

Karen Bentzinger, 61, of Alexandria Township, NJ passed away on Wednesday August 1, 2012 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born March 3, 1951 in Somerville, NJ, Karen lived in Manville, before moving to Alexandria Township over 25 years ago. She worked at AT&T and Toll Brothers before becoming the Child Study Team secretary at Delaware Valley Regional High School in Alexandria Township, NJ. She was also a homemaker. Karen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Robert Bob Bentzinger, her mother Joan Brown of Kunkletown, PA, sons Eric Bentzinger and his wife Krista, of Holland Twp., NJ and Justin Bentzinger and his fiance Heather, of Three Bridges, NJ, daughter Stacy White and her husband Jim, of Kunkletown, PA, brothers Bobby, Scott and Jeff Brown, sister Jan Zavatsy, and her five grandchildren, Hunter, Logan, Jacob, Lilly and Skylar.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing for Karen on Saturday August 4, 2012 from 3 5 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ 08840. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
