Kent B. Robinson, 61, of Pipersville (Tinicum Township), PA, passed away on Saturday February 12, 2011 at Doylestown Hospital.

Born May 27, 1949 in Phillipsburg, NJ, Kent was a life long resident of Tinicum Township, PA. He graduated from Palisades High School. He was the owner of K & J Auto Works Inc. in Ottsville, Pa for over 25 years. After his retirement, Kent spent much of his time in his garage, affectionately known as Pops Garage, where he enjoyed rebuilding old cars and building street rods. He also enjoyed woodworking, making metal sculptures and gardening. Most importantly, Kent was a devoted family man and friend. A patriotic man, Kent was a member of the N.R.A. and was a member of the Upper Tinicum Lutheran Church.

Kent is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Faith R. Sutch Robinson, his daughters Raquel Brittain and her husband Robert and Rebecca Robinson, his son Marck Robinson, parents Marvin and Bertha Robinson, all of Upper Black Eddy, PA, two brothers Gregory of Rieglesville, PA and Geoffrey of Emmaus, PA, three grandchildren Corrine, Taylor and Brooke. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother Keith Robinson (2004).

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 16, 2011 at 11 AM at the Upper Tinicum Lutheran Church, 188 Upper Tinicum Church Rd., Upper Black Eddy, PA, with Pastor Tim Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Upper Tinicum Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 11 AM, at the church, prior to the service.
