Lewis David Slack Obituary

Lewis David Slack, 60, of Holland Township, NJ passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, PA surrounded by his loving family.

Born July 21, 1952 in Doylestown, PA, Lewis lived most of his life in Frenchtown, NJ before moving to Holland Township 6 years ago. He graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 1970 and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Century Link Phone Company in Clinton, NJ for 42 years. Lewis enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Rams and the Philadelphia Phillies. He also enjoyed NASCAR. Lewis loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the American Legion Fidelity Post 113 in Frenchtown, NJ.

Lewis is survived by his mother Eleanor (Malaby) Good of Milford, NJ, , his fianc Linda Bellini with whom he lived, two daughters Holly Scheetz and her husband Jeremy of Williams Township, PA and Tracy Seals of High Bridge, NJ, two sons Kyle and Kevin Slack of Frenchtown, NJ, two grandchildren Gunner and Levi Sheetz, his sister Ruth Hummer, his brother James Slack, his aunt Isabelle Blair and two special friends Michael Morton and Wayne Fleming. He is predeceased by his father the late Lewis G. Slack.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 12 noon at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Visitation will be held from 11AM-12 PM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Fidelity Post 113, 510 Harrison Street, Frenchtown, NJ 08825.
