Lillian M. Scholtz, 93, of Pittstown, NJ, formerly of Kingwood Township, NJ passed away on Monday December 13, 2010 at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown (Union Twp.), NJ.

Born June 7, 1917 in Upper Black Eddy, PA, Lillian lived in Milford and Kingwood Twp., NJ before moving to Pittstown five years ago. She was a homemaker and had worked at the Riegel Paper Corp. and the Frenchtown Porcelain Co.. Lillian was an active member of the First United Church of Christ in Milford, where she served as a deacon at one time. She was known for her infectious sense of humor and her cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Daughter of the late Frank and Rita Burroughs Shoudt, Lillians husband, Miro Roy Scholtz passed away in 1983. She is survived by two step daughters Virginia of Florida and Ann of New Jersey and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers Charles, Kenneth, Harry, Frank and Wilson Shoudt and two sisters Grace Roesch and Olive Niece.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow in Milford Union Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Thursday, from 10 11 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
