Linda J. Cochran, 60, of Frenchtown, NJ passed away on Friday Oct. 16, 2009 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born May 10, 1949 in Phillipsburg, NJ, Linda grew up in Frenchtown and had lived in Three Mile Bay, NY before moving back to Frenchtown 10 years ago. She was a florist and the owner of Valley Florist in Frenchtown and Cottage Garden Florist in Milford. Prior to that, she owned and operated a dairy farm in New York State. Linda was known for her love of life and always lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed traveling, photography, scrapbooking, quilting and was an avid reader. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Daughter of the late John Weaver and Lillian Fisher Clark, Linda is survived by her long time companion of 30 years, Scott Stryker of Frenchtown, two sons Scott Cochran and his wife Amy of Delray Beach, FL and Daniel Cochran and his wife Jennifer of Nockamixon Township, PA, three sisters Karen Cranstoun of Trenton, NJ, Phyllis Abbott of Portland, OR and Jane Pearce of Holland Township, NJ and her four beloved grandchildren Riley, Sierra, Kiel and Ava.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday Oct. 21, 2009 at 10 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd. Holland Township, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6 8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
