Linda Opdyke, 65, of Milford, NJ passed away on Wednesday July 21, 2010 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ

Born March 28, 1945, Linda lived most of her life in Milford and Frenchtown, NJ. She worked for many years as a care giver and home health aid. Linda was a loving mother and grandmother and was very proud of her familys achievements. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, quilting and flowers, especially lilacs. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. She was a member of the Frenchtown American Legion Fidelity Post 113 Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered with the American Red Cross.

Linda is survived by five daughters, Victoria Borthwick of Orlando, FL, Virginia Dean, Veronica Dean of Frenchtown, NJ, Sherri Opdyke of Glenwood Springs, CO and Cheryl Opdyke of Pine Island, NY, a son Michael Quinlan of West Palm Bay, FL, a brother Max Blankenstein of New Brunswick, NJ and eight grandchildren Astria, Justin, Alicia, Ashley, Aliza, Zachary, Harper and Zoe. She was predeceased by a daughter Deborah Dean.

Funeral services will be held on Monday July 26, 2010 at 12 noon at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will be private. Visitation will also be on Monday, from 11 12noon, prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Red Cross in Lindas memory.
