Lloyd Lyman Decker, Jr., 67, of Holland Township, NJ, formerly of Warren, NJ, passed away on Monday April 5, 2010 at his home.
Born July 23, 1942 in New York City, Lloyd lived in Staten Island, NY, and California before living in Warren, NJ for twenty years. He moved to Holland Township six years ago. Lloyd served in the U.S. Air Force, where he became a pilot. He worked as a corporate pilot for several well known companies and was the pilot for Armond Hammer of the Occidental Petroleum Corp. in Los Angeles, CA. He also flew for the Purolator Corp. and Exxon Corp., before retiring ten years ago. Lloyd built and flew two of his own airplanes which he kept at Sky Manor Airport in Alexandria Township, NJ. He was a member of the Somerville Hangar Q.B.s. Lloyd will be dearly missed by loving family and friends.
Lloyd is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Judith E. Decker, his parents Beatrice and Lloyd L. Decker, Sr. of Stewart, FL, son Lloyd L. Decker, III of Seneca Falls, NY, three step children Lucy Connery of Tinicum Township, PA, Melissa Corbin of Loxley, AL and Christopher Burt of New Canaan, CT, sister Janet Jordan of Stewart, FL and five grand children, Harrison, Clayton, Tristan, Teddy and Grace.
Funeral services will be held privately. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Milford, NJ 08848.
