Lorlyn J. Tinsman, 68, of Allentown, PA, formerly of Holland Township, Milford and Frenchtown, NJ, went to be with the Lord on Monday August 16, 2010.
Born February 24, 1942 in Baptistown, NJ, Lorlyn was the daughter of the late George and Helen Crowley Tinsman, Sr. She was a graduate of the Delaware Valley High School Class of 1960, the first class to graduate from DVRHS. Lorlyn had worked at the Hunterdon Occupational Training Center in Flemington, NJ and was a volunteer at the Hunterdon Medical Center and a volunteer Friendly Visitor for several years. She enjoyed life, especially painting, shopping, going to the movies, playing scrabble and her trips to the jersey shore. Lorlyn was a loving daughter, sister and aunt and will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
Surviving are her brother George Tinsman, Jr. of Holland Township, two sisters Doris Herzog of Frenchtown and Joann Tinsman of Phillipsburg, three nephews George Tinsman III of Kintersville, PA, Al Herzog of Philadelphia, PA and Christopher Philkill of Paducah, KY, a niece Bonnie Lynn Tinsman of Belvidere, NJ and two great nieces and a great nephew. In addition to her parents, Lorlyn was predeceased by her nephew Blair Paetzell.
A memorial service and Celebration of Lorlyns Life will be held on Sunday September 19, 2010 at 2 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Visitation will also be held on Sunday Sept. 19th, from 1 2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment and graveside services will be private in Frenchtown Cemetery. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
