Lottie Lechner Obituary

Lottie J. Lechner, 90, of Holland Township, formerly of Little York, NJ passed away on Tuesday September 21, 2010 at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Born July 10, 1920 in Ashley, PA, Lottie lived in Belvidere, NJ before moving to Little York and then Holland Township. She was the owner of the Little York Tavern for over 20 years and prior to that she owned the Lanark Inn in Belvidere, NJ. She enjoyed music and traveling. Lottie was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her beloved family.

Daughter of the late Michael and Anna Kotowski, Lotties husband, Herman Lechner passed away in 1974. She is survived by her daughter Lorraine Espel and her husband David of Cincinnati, OH, three sons Michael and his wife Julia of Holland Township, Charles and his wife Lisa of Novato, CA and Robert and his wife Whitney of Toms River, NJ and ten grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Michael Kotowski and her sister Jean Rauktis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday Sept. 25, 2010 at 11 AM at St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church, Water St., Milford, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Phillip and St. James Cemetery in Phillipsburg. Visitation will also be Saturday from 9 10 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ.
