Louis Michael Hahn Obituary

Louis Michael Hahn, 72, of Manchester Township, Whiting, NJ, formerly of Holland Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ.


Born March 1, 1954, in Easton, PA, Louis spent most of his life in Holland Township, NJ, before moving to Whiting, NJ in 2006. He graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 1972 and attended Hunterdon County Polytech, where he pursued automotive training and earned additional certifications throughout his career.


Louis married his high school sweetheart, Deborah Ann (Supplee) Hahn, sharing 31 years of marriage before her passing in 2003. Together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and lasting friendships.


A skilled and dedicated mechanic, Louis proudly owned and operated Lou’s Service Center in Milford, NJ for 16 years, becoming well known in the community for his honesty, mechanical expertise, and willingness to help anyone in need. He later worked as a lead fleet mechanic for PepsiCo in Neptune, NJ, where he continued to apply his knowledge and strong work ethic until retirement.


Louis found great joy in fishing and boating and cherished time spent outdoors. He was an avid sports fan who faithfully followed the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Jets. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing and, at one time, drove racecars himself, racing in Flemington and New Egypt, NJ.


Son of late Louis J. Hahn and Genevieve R. (Lyman) Csordas, Louis is survived by his two sons Louis M. Hahn, Jr. and Michael T. Hahn, his daughter Brianne Morey, his two sisters Renee Sears and Leslie Savercool, his four nieces Rebecca, Rachel, Shannon, and Trisha, and his two nephews Sean and John.  He was predeceased by his beloved wife Deborah Ann Hahn in 2003. 


A graveside service will be held privately at the Milford Union Cemetery in Milford, NJ.  Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ. 


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
