Louise M. Carr, 83, of Pittstown, Union Township, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2024 at the Country Arch Care Center in Union Township, NJ.

Born January 27, 1941, in Flemington, NJ, Louise lived in Frenchtown, NJ, for over 50 years before moving to Pittstown, NJ, five years ago. Louise worked at the Hunterdon Medical Center, sold Avon, and was a homemaker. She also worked at Photomat in Flemington, NJ, at one time.  A Christian, Louise was a woman of strong faith.

In addition to her deep faith, Louise had a variety of interests that brought her great joy. She enjoyed attending Bible study and being active in her church community. Louise had a passion for photography and was always keen on capturing life’s special moments. She loved watching movies and traveling to the theater for new releases. Louise was known to be a great listener, often offering a compassionate ear over a cup of coffee or tea. She found immense joy in dining out with her family and friends, cherishing those special moments together.

A loving grandmother, Louise delighted in babysitting her grandchildren, creating lasting memories with them. She was a collector of things big and small, with each trinket holding its own special memory. Louise treasured her time with friends, especially during coffee hour at the nursing home, and enjoyed Sunday Funday visits with her family. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Daughter of the late Zoltan and Gertrude (Lotsey) Nemeth, Louise is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Harry E. Carr, Sr.; her two sons, Harry E. Carr, Jr. and his wife Denise, and Danial L. Carr and his wife Renee; her two daughters, Leesa Niece and her husband Tom, and Trudy Stryker and her husband Jim; her brother Thomas Nemeth and his wife Shirley; her eight grandchildren, Danialle (husband John), Nikki (husband Frank), Matthew (wife Jessica), Bradley, Timothy (wife Stephanie), Stephanie, Dean, and Leah; and her great-grandchildren, Riley, Shamus, Nico, Giuliana, Aria, Eliana, Isla, Olivia, and Liam. She was predeceased by her sister Joan Scott.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
