Lucas Anthony Weiss, 20, of Ottsville, PA passed away on Wednesday May 6, 2009 at Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Born February 24, 1989 in Doylestown, PA, Lucas lived in Upper Black Eddy, PA before moving to Ottsville two years ago. He was a 2007 graduate of Palisades High School and was attending Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, where he played on the football team and played lacrosse. Lucas had a love of life, he was an avid athlete and played many sports. He was also an artist. He was a loving son, brother and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. As an organ donor, Lucas has been able to give the gift of life to others.

Lucas is survived by his father Anthony Buddy Weiss of Ottsville, PA, his mother Marta Weiss of Plumbsteadville, PA, brother Aaron Weiss of Marietta, GA, grandmother Georgina Warren of South Carolina, three aunts Maryann Previte, Margaret Cookie DeVito, and Frances Weiss, all of New Brunswick, NJ and many cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 12, 2009 at 10 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd, Holland Township, NJ 08848. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6-9 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in may be made to The Gift of Life, 401 North 3rd St. Philadelphia, PA 19123.
