Lynne Gail Roethel, 66, of Sterling, PA passed away on Tuesday October 25, 2011 at the Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA.

Born December 20, 1944 in Harlingen, TX, Lynne lived in Milford, NJ for over 20 years, before moving to Sterling, PA, where she resided for the past 11 years. She was a driver for the Wayne County Office on Aging Transport Dept. in Honesdale, PA for several years. Prior to that, she was a school bus driver for the Delaware Valley School sending district for 30 years. She also worked at the Milford, NJ Post Office at one time. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, ceramics, sewing and gardening. She was an animal lover who especially enjoyed hummingbirds. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Daughter of the late Porter LaVerne and Mildred Witt, Lynne is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Joseph Roethel, her three daughters, Rene Danielle LaFevre of Holland Township, NJ, Heather M. Klein and Jamie Lynne Cirigliano, both of Kingwood Township, NJ, two brothers, Michael and Reilly McSpadden, of San Antonio, TX, two sisters, Peggy Bishop of Canyon Lake, TX, and Sarah Jean Kutzer, of Ingleside, TX, and five grandchildren, Ashley and Erica Klein and John, Jimmy and Jenna Cirigliano.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 29, 2011 at 2 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ, with the Rev. William Tex Culton officiating. Visitation will also be held on Saturday from 12 2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
