Mabel "Mae" Kantorski Obituary

Mabel Mae Kantorski, 73, of Holland Township, NJ passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at her home.

Born on July 20, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY, Mabel lived most of her life in Holland Township, NJ. She worked at Brush Wellman Co. in Union Twp., prior to working as the deputy clerk in Holland Township, NJ for many years. She also taught ceramics. Mabel was a member of the Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed camping, bingo, and crafts of all kinds, especially ceramics, quilting, knitting and crocheting. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Daughter of the late John and Olga (Stensrud) Kvamme, Mabel is survived by her fianc Elmer Jake Rush of Stewartsville, NJ; sons, Joseph J. Kantorski and his wife Tracey of Buchanan, VA, Michael D. Kantorski and his wife Tina of Troutville, VA; daughters Debra Bommieno and her husband David of Alpha, NJ, Laura Epstein and her husband Darren of Raleigh, NC; and grandchildren Matthew, Jenna, Nicole, Michael, Lauren, Leanne, William, Evan and Matt. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph S. Kantorski who passed away in 1997 and her sister Edith Pellechia.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 2:30 pm at the Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church, 17 Greenwich Church Road, Greenwich Township, NJ. Interment will follow at Greenwich Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1:30 pm until the time of the service at the church.
