Margaret Gardinor Obituary

 

Margaret Gardinor, 77, of Holland Township, NJ died on Monday, September 14, at Hunterdon Medical Center.

Margaret was born on November 19, 1931 and grew up in Easton, PA. She was a graduate of Easton High School class of 1949. She moved to Frenchtown, NJ in 1956 and to Holland Township in 1991. She retired from Jefferson Smurfitt in 1996 after 13 years of service.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol McConaughy and her husband, Andy, of Gaithersburg, Maryland and Susan Gardinor and her husband, Jeff Austin, of Davis, California; two sisters, Vera Churley of Ridgewood, NJ and Ann Heermann of Williamsburg, VA. Her husband, Frank Gardinor, predeceased her. Three sisters and a brother also predeceased her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at noon at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ, 08848, with visitation from 11 a.m. to noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable contributions be made to the American Kidney Foundation and the ASPCA.
