Marguerite Dipple Slack Obituary

Marguerite Dipple Slack, 92, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away May 26, 2010 at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Born September 11, 1917 in Frenchtown, NJ to the late Estella (Reigel) and Melvin Slack where she attended both Frenchtown elementary and high school.

In 1942 Marguerite moved and raised a family with her late husband, Erving Dipple in Milford, NJ where she resided for 25 years. During her life she enjoyed several residences including The Heckman House in Phillipsburg,NJ and most recently The Phillipsburg Center. She was employed by Penn Engineering in Danboro, PA. retiring in 1986. Marguerite loved to read and enjoyed walking.

She is survived by sons, Ronald and wife Kathy Dipple of Paulsbo, WA , Eugene and his wife Sandra Dipple of Milford, NJ, a brother Frank Slack of Hazleton, PA , a sister Miriam De Bois of Somerville, NJ , Grandchildren; Roger, Wayne, Amy Simonis, Susan Myers, Michael, Greg, Gary, Jeffrey and 11 Great Grandchildren.

She was predeceased by husband Erving Dipple, an infant son Kenneth, son Edward Dipple, sisters Blanche Schubert and Frances Williamson, a brother Kenneth Slack and Grandson Lawrence Dipple Moore.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 12 PM at the Johnson- Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow in Frenchtown Cemetery, Frenchtown, NJ.
