Marie J. (Dearmond) Faltinosky of Westfield, NJ, formerly of Milford, NJ passed away early Thursday morning, October 6, 2011, at her home at the Westfield Center Nursing Home, Westfield, NJ, following a lingering illness. Mrs. Faltinosky was 90 years old.

She was born Sophie Krowczun (Crofton) in Cambridge, MA, the daughter of Michael and Anastasia Krowczun, with four brothers and four sisters. However, circumstances led to a name change and adoption. Her parents by adoption were Clarence and Catherine Dearmond and a sister Mrs. Charles (Catherine E.) Waters.

The wife of the late Francis Faltinosky (2000), she resided for many years in Milford, NJ, until his health caused her to move to Rahway to be near him.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. David (Donna M.) Loftus of Woburn, MA and Mrs. Raymond (Sandra M.) Lesky of South Plainfield, NJ, five grandchildren, Suzanne Shields of Watertown, MA, Terri Loftus of Epping, NH, Kevin Loftus of Waltham, MA, Zane Lesky of Bethlehem, PA, and Justin Lesky of Grantham, PA, and two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Thomas Loftus.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 11, 2011 at 10:30 AM from the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Milford, NJ. Viewing will be from 8:30 - 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church, Milford, NJ. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Haycock, PA.
