Marie H. Thatcher, 85, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on Thursday July 28, 2011 at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, PA

Born December 11, 1925 in Erwinna, PA Marie moved to Holland Township in 1946 with her beloved husband the late Robert R. Thatcher ( 1996). She worked as a Bank Teller for the National State Bank in Milford, NJ and was a very active member of several organizations. She enjoyed gardening, yard sales and traveling. Marie loved spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Daughter of the late Willet and Elizabeth (Halla) Hager, Marie is survived by two daughters
Tara Fiebig and husband Chris of Milford, NJ Erin Cassidy of Flemington, NJ three sons Robert Thatcher II and wife MaryAnn of Upper Black Eddy, Joel Thatcher and wife Karen of Lambertville and Lance Thatcher and wife Vanessa of Milford, NJ , a brother Wilson Hager of Milford, NJ and two sisters Mildred Riegel of Erwinna, PA and Margaret Synder of Doylestown, PA , 14 Grandchildren and 6 Great- Grandchildren. She is predeceased by a sister Marion Hartpence.

Funeral services will be held on Monday August 1, 2011 at 11 AM at the Holland Presbyterian Church, 302 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will be in Upper Tinicum Cemetery in Tinicum Township, PA. Visitation will be 10-11 AM prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
