Marion G. Fargo Obituary

Marion G. Fargo, 94, of Frenchtown, NJ passed away on Sunday March 21, 2010 at her home.

Born January 11, 1916 in Frenchtown, Marion was a life long resident. She graduated from Frenchtown High School. She worked as a secretary for the State of New Jersey Department of Education in Trenton for over 30 years. She was very active in the Frenchtown United Methodist Church and was a member of the Frenchtown Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed doing handwork such as cross stitch and needlepoint. She loved music and singing.

Marion was a daughter of the late Clarence and Lottie Sinclair Fargo. She was predeceased by her sisters, Edith Fargo Bryan, who passed away in 2006 and Marjorie S. Fargo, who passed away in 2009.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 25, 2010 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Services will be officiated by Pastor Christine Day. Visitation will be held from 1011 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Frenchtown Cemetery.
