Marjorie Bechmann Obituary

Marjorie Bechmann, 79, of Kingwood Township, NJ passed away on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at her home.

Born on August 24, 1930 in Newark, NJ, Marjorie lived in Irvington and Bridgewater, NJ before moving to Kingwood Township in 1977. She graduated from Irvington High School. She was a homemaker and a farmer. She enjoyed traveling and visited 49 states and most of Canada and Mexico. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, and bowling and played in bowling leagues in Frenchtown.

Daughter of the late John and Thelma Grohs, Marjorie is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Walter E. Bechmann, Jr., two daughters, Jeanne Osmun and her husband James of Frenchtown, NJ, and Jan Donlay and her husband Mark of Holland Township, NJ, her son Wayne Bechmann of Kingwood Township, three granddaughters, Stephanie, Samantha and Melissa Donlay, and one great-granddaughter McKenna.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 at 10 am at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
