Mark Scott McAuliff, 70, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ.

Born on August 27, 1954, in Newark, NJ, Mark grew up in Watchung, NJ before embarking on travels that took him around the world. He eventually made his home in Holland Township in 1990, where he has lived for many years.

A skilled and hardworking carpenter, Mark worked as a self-employed craftsman, taking pride in his work and in the relationships he built with those around him. His work reflected his commitment to quality and his dedication to serving others.

Mark had a deep love for the outdoors, with fishing and gardening being among his favorite pastimes. His appreciation for nature was evident in everything he did, from his quiet mornings by the water to the vibrant garden he tended to with care and passion. He was happiest when surrounded by the beauty of the natural world.

Above all, Mark was a loving father and grandfather. He cherished his family deeply and was always there with a kind word, a helping hand, or a gentle smile. His legacy of love, warmth, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Son of the late Albert and Carmella (Dellavalle) McAuliff, Mark is survived by his two daughters Megan E. McAluiff and Katherine “Katie” McAuliff, his two brothers Steven McAuliff and Wayne McAuliff, and his two grandchildren Landon Snively and River McAuliff-Niece.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
