Mark Steven Popielarski Sr. of Palmer Township, PA passed away on Friday January 7, 2011 at home.

Born July 9, 1959 in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of Robert Charles Popielarski and Anne Louise (Stachnik) Popielarski, both deceased. Mark lived and raised his family in Holland Township, NJ before recently moving to Pennsylvania.

He was a self-employed carpenter and owner of Mark Steven Custom Builders Corp. Mark was a man of many talents and trades. If it broke, he could fix it whether it was a motorcycle, bicycle, garage door or a small block V-8 engine. He loved music, the outdoors, the ocean and was an avid bicycle racer and former National/State Champion.

Mark is survived by his son Mark Popielarski Jr. of Glen Gardner, NJ, two brothers: Thomas P. Popielarski of Owego, NY and Robert Popielarski of Phillipsburg, NJ, and three sisters: Joanne Kenopensky of New Ringold, PA, Janet McGettigan of Winfield Park, NJ and Ruth Ann Esposito of Bloomsbury, NJ.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd. Milford, NJ 08848. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marks family, in care of Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd. Milford, NJ 08848.
