Marvin Richard Heater, 68, of Greentown, PA, formerly of Milford, NJ, passed away on Saturday July 2, 2011 at the Lakawanna Health and Rehabilitation Center in Olyphant, PA.
Born August 27, 1942 in Phillipsburg, NJ, Richard lived in Frenchtown and Riegelsville, New Jersey before moving to Milford. He moved to Greentown, PA five years ago. He worked for the Riegel Paper Corp. and Fibermark, in Warren Glen, NJ for over forty years. He enjoyed traveling.
Son of the late Marvin and Alice Heater, Jr., Richard is survived by two daughters Denise Heater of Throop, PA and Debbie Deitz of Lebanon, TN, a son Richard Galloway of Upper Black Eddy, PA, brother Brent Heater of Riegelsville, NJ, and three grandchildren Christina, Ashley and Justin. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Connie Mills Heater, who passed away in 2003.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at 12 noon at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow in Milford Union Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Wednesday, from 11 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
