Matthew Alexander Moore, 69, of Plumstead Township, PA, formerly of Frenchtown, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at his home.

Born July 16, 1955 in Doylestown, PA, Matthew lived in Frenchtown, NJ, on and off, for most of his life. He also lived in Bucks County, PA. Matthew graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 1973. He received an Associate’s Degree from Bucks County Community College, where he also taught and ran the computer lab. Matthew was an avid animal lover, especially dogs. He rescued many dogs over the years. He volunteered at a cattle dog rescue. Most of all, Matthew was a loving brother and uncle, who had a love of life, and will be dearly missed.

Son of the late Stanley and Betty (Manes) Moore, Matthew is survived by a brother, John Moore, and his wife, Deb, a sister, Margaret Moore Koppes, and her partner Jean-Paul van Boxtel, his nephews: Christopher Moore, Alexander Koppes and Sean Moore, his wife, Noelle and great-nephew, Logan. He is also survived by his loving dogs, Zoey and Ruger. He was predeceased by his beloved life partner, Ann Geddes, in 2023.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
