Mildred C. Doherty Chadwick, 96, of Pittstown, NJ, passed away on Tuesday January 18, 2011 at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ.

Born August 14, 1914 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Mildred also lived in Somerset County, NJ before moving to Pittstown, NJ. She graduated from the Mt. Auburn School of Nursing in Cambridge, MA and attended Simmons College. She worked as a public health nurse in the Cambridge School System. She later worked as a director of nursing at Willow Manor Nursing Home and as a nursing home administrator at Douville Manor in Haverhill, MA. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by her beloved family.

Daughter of the late William and Delia Witham Doherty, Mildred is survived by daughters Barbara St.Onge Anderson of Clinton, NJ, Mary C. Davis and husband Michael of Vacaville, CA and Jeanne M. St,Onge of Hyde Park, MA . Her three sons Hubert J. St.Onge, Jr and wife Christine of Chesterfield, MO , Paul F. St.Onge and wife Anne of Kingston, NH , Gerard A. St. Onge and wife Vicky of Frenchtown, NJ and a sister Rita Crowley of Turlock, CA . Fifteen Grandchildren Daniel, Sarah, Michelle, Kimberly, Katie, Bryan, Amy, Jeffrey, Matthew, Christopher, Kyla, Sean, Erin, Laura , Joseph and four Great Grandchildren Zachary, Hannah, Molly and Joshua. She is predeceased by her first husband Hubert J. St.Onge, second husband John Chadwick and her son Victor A. St.Onge.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Catherine of Sienna R. C. Church, 2 Whitebridge Rd Pittstown NJ on Saturday January 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Interment Milton Cemetery in Milton, MA.
