Nancy K. Forker, 71, of Milford, NJ passed away on Saturday June 20, 2009 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ

Born May 20, 1938 in Plainfield, NJ, Nancy lived there and in Pittstown, NJ before moving to Milford. She graduated from Mount St. Mary School in Watchung and attended Cetenary College in Hackettstown, NJ and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Nancy was an office manager at Dr.s Rosen and Kern Urology in Flemington, prior to that, she worked at Lafayette College in Easton, PA, the Hunterdon Medical Center, in the admitting department and at the Hunterdon Adult Education Center. She was an avid gardener and a Phillies fan and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her granddaughters. Nancy was a member of St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church in Milford, the Milford Library Board, the Milford Bridge Committee, the Milford Borough P.T.A. and was a den mother for the Cub Scouts at one time.

Daughter of the late John and Helen Fronczak Kinder, Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Dominic J. Forker, three sons Timothy J. of Milford, NJ, Geoffrey P. and his wife Alexandra of Roxbury Township, NJ and Edward M. of Middletown, NJ, a sister Helen DeMarco of Green Brook, NJ and her three granddaughters Kelsey, Karly and Kaitlyn. She was predeceased by her sister Betty Jane Clark.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 25, 2009 at 12 noon from the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Milford, NJ followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 PM at St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church in Milford, NJ. Interment will be in St. Gertrudes Cemetery in Colonia, NJ. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
