Patricia M. Butler of Holland Township, NJ passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born January 30, 1937 in Plainfield NJ, Pat lived most of her life in Holland Township, NJ. She was a proud graduate of Frenchtown High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who truly enjoyed spending time with loved ones. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In earlier years Patricia and the family devoted a great deal of time supporting and encouraging Oliver, Sr. as they spent many countless hours at racetracks during his successful racing career. She spent many years as a devoted Holland Township School bus driver and being that smiling face behind the counter at Dutch Mill Market. She cherished the time she spent on L.B.I. with her family and friends.

Daughter of the late Clayton and Olive ODonnell Kinney, Patricia is survived by daughter Judy Pursell and husband Richard of Upper Black Eddy, PA two sons Clayton of Milford, NJ, Oliver and his wife Paula of Erwinna, PA , a step daughter Patti Miller of Easton, PA , three sisters Virginia Hager of Kintnersville, PA , Peggy Gourley of Bethlehem, PA , Carol Kinney of Florence, NJ and seven grandchildren Rich, Kyle, Clayton, Robert, Jillian, Derek , Michael and a step grandson Rich Miller.

Patricia is predeceased by her beloved husband Oliver M. Butler, Sr. and her sister Sandra Shoemaker.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 27, 2012 at 10 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ, with the Reverend William TexCulton officiating. Interment will follow in Frenchtown Cemetery in Frenchtown, NJ Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM and Thursday from 9 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
