Patrick James Conway, 80, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at his home.

Born September 19, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY, Patrick grew up in Long Island, NY, and lived in Piscataway, NJ, before settling in Holland Township, NJ, in 1992. He earned a bachelor’s of science in physics and chemistry from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, and a master’s degree in information science and library science from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Patrick worked in scheduling administration at Westinghouse in Long Island, NJ, as well as a manager of information systems at Bell Labs and AT&T throughout New Jersey, before retiring as an educational consultant at Star Career Academy in Newark, NJ. He enjoyed cooking and gardening; Patrick and his wife were both Master Gardeners with Rutgers Master Gardeners in Hunterdon County, NJ. Most of all, Patrick was a beloved husband and father and he will be dearly missed.

Son of the late James Patrick and Helen Veronica (Walters) Conway, Patrick is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Crystal Szymansky, his son Jeremy Shank of Fort Collins, CO, his brother James Michael Conway and his wife Kathy of Long Island, NY, and his two sisters Anne Fernald and her husband Doug of Cambridge, MA, and Mary Slade of Chapel Hill, NC. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
