Raymond W. Good, 77, of Milford, NJ passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ.
Born January 2, 1936 in New Hope, PA, Raymond was a Supervisor for the Hunterdon Developmental Center in Clinton, NJ before retiring in 2002. He loved to garden and work outdoors. Raymond was a member of Shepherd of the Valley Church for six years and was part of the prison ministry at the Hunterdon County Jail and Mountain View Youth Correctional Facility. He also was a member of the Gideons.
Son of the late Jesse and Elsie Good, Raymond is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanore (Malaby) Good, two stepchildren, Ruth Hummer and her husband Wayne of Frenchtown, NJ, James Slack of Allentown, PA, his sister Joan Good of New Hope, PA, eight step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren and 2 nephews. He is predeceased by his step-son the late Lewis D. Slack.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 12 noon at Shepherd of Valley Assembly of God, 48 Spring Mills Rd., Holland Township, NJ with the Reverend Dave McLucas officiating. Visitation will be from 11 AM- 12 noon, prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
