Raymond W. Keiper Obituary

Raymond W. Keiper, 90, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born May 20, 1921 in Belvidere, NJ, Raymond lived in Flemington and Kingwood Township before moving to Holland Township two years ago. He served in the US Army Air Corp and was a veteran of WWII. He worked for over 30 years as a truck driver for E.M. Haynes Trucking Co. in Flemington, NJ before retiring. Raymond was a member of the American Legion Fidelity Post # 113 in Frenchtown, NJ.

Son of the late Thomas and Martha (Rush) Keiper, Raymond is survived by his daughter Cynthia H. Buchanan of Frenchtown, NJ, son Raymond T. Keiper and his wife Cindy of Holland Township, brother Jerry Keiper of New Mexico and sister Joan Mowrey of Washington, NJ, four Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Myrtle A. (Oren) Keiper 1993, his brother Hiram Keiper and his sister Clarisa Hendshaw.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 5, 2011 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ.with Reverend Irv. Angstadt officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton, NJ
