Renee B. Andersen, 76, of Erwinna, PA passed away on Sunday September 11, 2011 at her home.

Born March 11, 1935 in Staten Island, NY, Renee grew up there and lived in Cleveland, OH and Boston, MA before moving to Erwinna in 1961. She was a homemaker and had done a lot of volunteer work. She mostly volunteered at the Buckingham Friends School, Lahaska, PA, Meals on Wheels, and the Delaware Valley Vol. Fire Co. in Erwinna, as well as many others. Renee enjoyed reading. She was a loving wife and mother and will be dearly missed by her beloved family.

Daughter of the late James W. and Marie (Smith) Bassett, Renee is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Kenneth A. Andersen, her children Glenn W. Andersen and his husband Stephen Ruffin of Dallas, TX, Tenley R. LaDue and her husband Fred of Eustis, FL and Kenneth C. Andersen of Mexico City, Mexico, and her sister Janet Gretzler of Mt. Dora, FL. She was predeceased by her sister Jean Hurley.

Services will be held privately. Interment will be in Upper Tinicum Cemetery, Tinicum Township, PA. All arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
