Robert R. Haring Obituary

Robert R. Haring, 74, of Kingwood Township, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 14, 2010.

Born in Wilson Boro, PA, Robert was the son of the late Ralph and Alice Black Haring.
He was the loving and devoted husband of Mary Lou Gordeuk Haring. They celebrated 30 years of marriage last June. A graduate of Wilson Boro H.S. class of 1954, he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the Newport News CA-148 from 1954 to 1957. He worked at Baker Chemical, and the Jersey Central Power & Light Company as a First Class Lineman, retiring in 1996. He had recently returned to work for Tractor Supply Co. in Flemington, NJ. He loved spending time with family and friends, was an avid hunter and enjoyed Nascar racing.

In addition to his wife, his sons, Lucas M. and his wife Elise, and Russell R. and his fiance Becca Fehr, all of Kingwood Twp., daughters Margaret S. Grube of Easton, PA and Mary E. and her husband William Vogt of Middlesex, NJ, and his grandchildren whom he adored, Ava Marie Haring and Maxwell Grube. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by a son, David.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 19, 2010 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Visitation will be Monday evening, from 6 9 pm, and Tuesday, 10 11 am, prior to service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to The American Heart Association, 212 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
