Robert A. Lohman, Sr., 65, of Shooktown Rd., North Bangor, PA, passed away on Sunday April 1, 2012 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born December 28, 1946 in Easton, PA, Bob grew up in East Bangor and lived in North Bangor for over 30 years. He was employed at Dallys Slate Quarry in Pen Argyl, PA for over 20 years and also worked as a stone mason for many years. Bob was one of a kind and lived life his way. He was well known for his love of life and his special sense of humor. He loved people and would do anything to help someone in need. Bob was the type of person that once you met him, you would never forget him and he will live on in the hearts and minds of his loving family and many, many friends. Bob enjoyed many things in life, he was an outdoors type enjoying gardening, tinkering in his garage, collecting guns and spending time with loved ones. He enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table, telling stories and making people laugh, he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Son of the late Cuff and Alice Lohman, Robert is survived by his beloved wife , Kathleen A. Klingle Lohman, his son Robert A. Lohman, Jr. of North Bangor, PA, his daughter Cynthia Lohman of Bethlehem, PA, his step-sons Marvin Butch Frable and his wife Tracy, and Wesley Frable, all of North Bangor, PA, his brother Gerald Peanut Lohman and his wife Ruthann, of Mt. Bethel, PA, and four grandchildren Autumn, Jewel, Brandy and Bobby III. He was predeceased by two brothers, Tex and Alan Smoky Lohman.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 5, 2012 at 12 PM at the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home, 4 Lillian Lane, Village of Johnsonville, Bangor, PA. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 10 AM 12 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ
