Ronald David Harper, 51, of Upper Black Eddy, PA passed away on Thursday June 17, 2010 in Upper Black Eddy, PA.
Born September 9, 1958 in Raritan Township, NJ, Ron had lived in Alexandria Township, NJ before moving to Upper Black Eddy, PA. He worked as a crane operator and a drilling rig operator for Precision Drilling in Stockton, NJ for over 25 years. Ron was a loving father and he supported and encouraged his children to race quarter midget racecars. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing.
Son of the late James A. and Doris A. Leaper Harper, Ron is survived by his daughter Brittany Dean Harper of Alexandria Township, NJ, his son Alex Jackson Harper of Alexandria Township, NJ, his former wife Cathy Hrubos of Alexandria Township, NJ, three brothers James, Jr. of Holland Township, NJ, Thomas of Milford, NJ and Timothy of Holland Township, NJ, two sisters Patricia Bye of Lebanon, NJ and Terry Yerian of High Bridge, NJ and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Rons Life will be held on Tuesday June 22, 2010 from 4 9 PM at 1444 County Road 519 in Alexandria Township, NJ. Cremation will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
