Rose Marie Nemeth, 90, of Pittstown, NJ passed away on Monday September 26, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born August 17, 1921 in Durham, PA, Rose lived in Pittstown, Alexandria Township, NJ since 1942. She graduated from Nockamixon High School in Revere, PA in 1938. She worked her entire life on her familys farm, and at one time, she worked as a secretary. During W.W. II, Rose worked at General Motors in Trenton making Grumman Avenger Airplanes to help in the war effort. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling and was a fan of Polka music. Rose mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Rose was a long time member of the Everittstown United Methodist Church and the churchs Womans Club and the National Farmers Organization. She was also a former member of the Alexandria P.T.A., the Milford Golden Agers, the Frenchtown Senior Citizens and the Kingwood Merry Mixers.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Herman, Roses beloved husband, Joseph Charles Nemeth passed away in 1990. She is survived by her two sons, Franklin D. Nemeth and Edward B. Nemeth, both of Pittstown, NJ, three grandchildren, Joseph, Franklin and Lauren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday September 30, 2011 at 10 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow in Frenchtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 7 9 PM at the funeral home.
