Russell W. Herrick, Jr.

Russell Walter Herrick, Jr., 67 of Milford, NJ passed away on Friday March 8, 2013 at his home.

Born March 28, 1946 in Phillipsburg, NJ, Russell lived in Holland Township, NJ before moving to Milford. He graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in Alexandria Twp., NJ. He served in the U.S. Army, in Germany, during the Vietnam Era. Russell was an animal lover and he enjoyed working on classic trucks.

Son of the late Russell W. Herrick, Sr. and Edith (Severs) Herrick, Russell is survived by his daughters Tracey Herrick of Matthews, NC and Tammy Yukna of Saylorsburg, PA, two brothers Warren and Gerry Herricks, three sisters Sharon Ziemba, Cheryl Shoemaker and Darrell Smith, five grandchildren and his companion Sherry Fischer.

A Graveside Service, with Military Honors, will be held on Thursday March 14, 2013 at 2 PM at the Milford Union Cemetery, Rt. 519, Milford, NJ. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hunterdon Humane Animal Shelter, 576 Stamets Rd., Milford, NJ 08848.
