Ruth J. Petuck, 89 of Holland Township, NJ passed away on Friday April 1, 2011 at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ.

Born November 26, 1921 in Hazelton, PA, Ruth lived in Flemington, NJ before moving to Holland Township in 1996. She worked as a secretary at Lucent Technology, formerly AT&T, in Princeton, NJ for over 40 years. Prior to that, she worked at Western Electric in Union, NJ.
Ruth enjoyed bowling and swimming. She was a member of Shepherd of the Valley Assembly of God in Holland Township, NJ. She also served as secretary of AARP in Flemington, NJ.

Daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Lemmert Petuck, Ruth is survived by her brother Caryle Petuck of Maryland and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters Thelma Curtis and Mae Soderlund and a brother William Petuck.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 6, 2011 at 11 AM at the Shepherd of the Valley Assembly of God, 45 Spring Mills Rd., Milford (Holland Township), NJ 08848 with Pastor Dennis Durasoff officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery in Delaware Township, NJ. Visitation will also be Wednesday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service in the church. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
