Samuel “Jimmy” James Radzicki, 71, of Alexandria Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at his home with his loving wife by his side.
Born July 14, 1953 in New York City, NY, Jimmy grew up in Greenwich Village, NY and lived in Sparta, NJ as a young man, before moving to Alexandria Township, NJ in 1983. He worked as an armed security guard for Rapid Armored in Brooklyn, NY, retiring in 2010. Prior to that, he worked as a licensed locksmith in NYC, for many years, and as an armed floor guard at HSBC Bank in NYC, stopping two bank robberies and a robbery on the street. Jimmy was a volunteer NYPD Auxiliary Police Officer in the 1970’s. As a younger man, he was an avid bowler and played pool in Greenwich Village, NYC. Jimmy was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed travelling, especially cruises. Jimmy was a member of St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church in Milford, NJ.
Son of the late Chester and Rebecca (Patrick) Radzicki, Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Patricia A. (Kelley) Radzicki. Jimmy was the youngest of four siblings. He is also survived by his two sisters-in-law Gwynne Holland and her husband Tom, Donna Harrold and her husband John, his brother-in-law John Gridley, his sixteen nephews and nieces, and twenty-one great-nephews and great-nieces. Jimmy was predeceased by his sister-in-law Judy Gridley.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11 AM at St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church, 61 Mill Street, Milford, NJ, with Father Bede Kim officiating.
