Sandra Sloff, 72, of Clinton Township, NJ, formerly Milford, NJ, passed away on Wednesday March 7, 2012 at the Rolling Hills Care Center in Clinton Township, NJ.
Born October 10, 1939 in Erwinna, Tinicum Township, PA, Sandra lived in Milford for over 50 years before moving to Clinton Township three years ago. She graduated from Palisades High School. She worked in the cafeteria at the Holland Township School, the Delaware Valley Regional High School in Alexandria Township and the Robert Hunter School in Flemington, NJ. Sandra was also a police dispatcher and a crossing guard in Milford at one time. She was a long time member of the Milford Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Milford Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and served as a Girl Scout leader in Milford. Sandra was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She loved watching her grandson race and her granddaughter sing and she enjoyed traveling, crocheting and NASCAR.
Daughter of the late Robert and Alda Tettemer Bartleman, Sandras beloved husband, Richard A. Sloff passed away in 2002. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Grim of New Tripoli, PA and Debra Waisempacher and her husband Ken of Holland Township, NJ and her grandchildren Angela, Dan, Jen, Emily, Michael and Megan. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Bartleman, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 10, 2012 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ with Pastor Linda Bullock officiating. Interment will follow in Milford Union Cemetery. Visitation will also be Saturday from 10 11 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home.
