Shirley A. Teeter-Horner Obituary

Shirley Ann Teeter-Horner, 62, of Lopatcong Township, NJ passed away on Thursday April 21, 2011 at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Born April 14, 1949 in Altoona, PA, Shirley lived in Frenchtown, NJ for most of her life before moving to Phillipsburg over ten years ago. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and was a homemaker. Shirley was a loving mother, sister and Nana, and will be dearly missed by her beloved family.

Daughter of the late Charles and Margaret McIntosh Teeter, Shirley is survived by her husband David Horner of Phillipsburg, four daughters Margaret Gerhard of Phillipsburg, Tina Kreger of Upper Black Eddy, PA, Samantha LaRochelle of Lopatcong Twp., NJ and Robyn LoVerso of Palmer Twp., PA, five brothers Charles, Samuel, Ronald, Fred and James Teeter, two sisters Mary Killy and Rose LaRochelle and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday April 25, 2011 at 7 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ, with Pastor Alan Schaarschmidt officiating. Visitation will also be Monday from 6 7 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shirleys family, in care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Milford, NJ 08848.
