Stanley Michael Reut, 69, of Pittstown, Alexandria Township, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born on December 13, 1955, in Raritan Township, Stanley grew up in Whitehouse, NJ, and later lived in Neshanic, NJ, before settling in Pittstown 37 years ago. He was a graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School and attended Rutgers University.

Stanley was the proud owner of Windswept Landscaping, where he worked as a tree surgeon, for more than 30 years. Prior to that, he was employed by Hunterdon Concrete as a cement truck driver and shop steward, for 20 years. He was a longtime member of the Teamsters Local 469.

In his thirties and forties, Stanley enjoyed weightlifting and bodybuilding. He was also an avid outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting and fishing throughout his life.

Stanley will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of the outdoors, and his quiet strength. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed.

Son of the late Stanley W. and Bernice (Jenkins) Reut, Stanley is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Janet (Mundy) Reut, his two sons Corey Reut and the mother to their children Amy Reut, and Kyle Reut and his wife Jessica, his daughter Casey Reut and her partner Desmond Field, his sister Terri Barbiche, and his six grandchildren Aiden, Anabelle, Sophia, Abigail, Haylee, and Harlan, the countless children who found love, laughter, and safety under his roof. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Michelle Rigante, his two nephews Travis and Cody, his niece Taylor, and his two beloved dogs BamBam and Pumpkin. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Billy Mundy.

A Celebration of Stanley’s Life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
