Stella B. Schaible, 85, of Alexandria Township, NJ passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at her home.

Born on February 24, 1924 in Holland Township, NJ. Stella lived in Philadelphia, PA, Tinicum Township, PA and Frenchtown, NJ before settling in Milford, NJ in 1954. She worked for many years at the US Post Office in Frenchtown, retiring in 1987, prior to that she worked at the Frenchtown Porcelain Co. Stella enjoyed bowling, sewing, traveling, and the theatre, she was also an avid Phillies fan. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Stella was a faith filled Roman Catholic and a member of St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church in Milford, NJ and a member of the churchs Alter Rosary Society. She was a member of the American Postal Workers Union.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Paluch, Stella was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Earl P. Hawkie Schaible who died in 2003. She is survived by five children, Donald Paul of Milford, NJ, Barbara Jean Robinson of Lorane, OR, Maryetta Barbour of Crownsville, MD, Peter Earl of Annandale, NJ, and Timothy James of Bangor, PA, a brother Frank Paluch of Philadelphia, PA, a sister Victoria MacKenzie of Greenville, SC, a special sister-in-law Ruth Doris Schaible of Milford, NJ, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson Jacob Robinson, and seven brothers and sisters, Caroline Paluch, John Paluch, Mary Bolman, Frances Jenski, Jean Frank, Pauline Flack, and Helen Busik.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 at 8 am at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am at St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church in Milford, NJ. Interment will be private. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
