Tanner Blake McLaughlin, 27, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 in Franklin Township, NJ.  

Born January 19, 1998 in Raritan Township, NJ, Tanner was a lifelong resident of Holland Township, NJ.  He graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 2017, where he was on the wrestling team.  Tanner worked as a trainer for Aspyre Agency as a training rep in East Brunswick, NJ.  Prior to that, he worked as an HVAC Tech for C-K Control Temp Inc. in Green Brook, NJ.  Tanner also worked on his family’s farm, the Swift Farm, since he was a young kid.  He served four years in the US Army.  Tanner loved playing sports and watching the Steelers football games. In addition to wrestling, he also played football and baseball.  Tanner enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, and camping at Otter Lake Campground with his family.

Tanner is survived by his wife Jade L. Alberta of Alpha, NJ, his son Brantley Blake McLaughlin, his daughter Arabella Elizabeth McLaughlin, his parents Sean M. and Wendy J. (Wittrien) McLaughlin, his two brothers Kirk A. Young and his wife Ashley and Austin M. McLaughlin and his wife Logann, his sister Meagan M Quinn and her husband Tyler, his four nieces Kali, Maci, Paisleigh and Addie, and his three nephews Caleb, Dylan and Levi. He is also survived by his “bonus brothers” Zane, Marcus, Alex and Lucien.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 2-5 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ.  A Celebration of Tanner’s Life will follow at 5 PM with Reverend William “Tex” Culton officiating.
