Thomas Walter Holzworth, 84, of Milford, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at his home. 

Born September 28, 1939, Tom lived in Upper Black Eddy, PA before moving to Milford, NJ in 1961.  He attended Palisades Regional High School.  Tom owned Midway Garage in Alexandria Township, NJ, for over 30 years.  He loved fishing and visits to the Florida Keys.  Tom was an active member of the Milford Volunteer Fire Company where he served as Chief, at one time, and an exempt member of the NJ State Fireman’s Association.  He was a former member of the Office of Emergency Management and of the Milford Board of Education.  Tom loved his family and friends, and will be dearly missed.      

Tom is survived by his beloved wife Gail M. (Baker) Holzworth, his sons Troy Holzworth, Trevor Holzworth, and Travis Holzworth, his daughter Kimberli Holzworth, his step-daughter DeAnn Finelli and her husband Jim Finelli, his brother Charles “Chuck” Ciganick, his six grandchildren Kristofer, Mackenzie, Austin, Elliot, Briana, and Kayla, and one great-grandson AJ.  He was predeceased by his mother Emma (Holzworth) Ciganick and his step-daughter Lisa Tinsman.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 5-7 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ.  A Celebration of Thomas’ Life will follow at 7 PM with Rev. William “Tex” Culton officiating.
