Verna E. Pursell Obituary

Verna E. Pursell, 82, of Frenchtown, NJ passed away on Monday June 14, 2010 at the home of her brother in Holland Township, NJ.

Born December 30, 1927, Verna lived in Flemington, NJ before moving to Frenchtown over 50 years ago. She had worked at Kerrs Hatchery as an inspector for many years. She loved bird watching and old movies. She will be dearly missed by her beloved family. She was a former member of the Frenchtown Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Auxillary.

Daughter of the late Fred and Emma Fields Bacorn, Vernas husband Clarence Glenn Pursell passed away in 1992. She is survived by her brother Larry Reasoner and his wife Dorothy of Holland Township, two nephews William and Peter Davis, a niece MaryAnn Smith, a great nephew Damien and two great nieces Joselle and Tiffany. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Davis and two brothers Donald and Richard Bacorn.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 19, 2010 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ. Interment will follow in Upper Tinicum Cemetery. Visitation will also be Saturday from 10 11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
