Victor Glenn Paetzell Obituary

Victor Glenn Paetzell, 88, of Upper Black Eddy (Bridgeton Township), PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, PA.


Born December 23, 1937 in his family’s home in Upper Black Eddy, PA. Glenn was a life long resident of Upper Black Eddy.


Glenn worked as a construction superintendent on large scale construction projects for REMSCO in Red Bank, New Jersey for 20 years before retiring. He also worked for other construction companies. He worked on the construction of the dam at Lake Nockamixon in Nockamixon State Park, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He served aboard the USS Forrestal at the Bay of Pigs in 1961.


In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and building furniture, crafting many beautiful pieces for his home as well as for the homes of family and loved ones. He was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed baseball and football, and was a devoted follower of NASCAR racing.


Son of the late Victor and Laura (Templeton) Paetzell, Glenn is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Jo Anne Paetzell; his daughter, Vicky L. Dexheimer and her husband Kenneth “Champ”; his sister, Faye Geiser; his granddaughter, Kelly Fleming and her husband Kory; and his great-grandson, Tanner Dexheimer. He was predeceased by his grandson, Matthew Dexheimer, who passed away in 1993.


Funeral Services are private. Arrangements are under the care of Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ 08848.
