Vincenzi Rossi, 83, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, formerly of Easton and Upper Black Eddy, PA passed away on Tuesday January 31, 2012 at St. Lukes Hospital in Fountain Hill, PA.
Born November 3, 1928 in Easton, PA, Vincenzi lived in Easton and Phillipsburg for most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Nortons Liquor store in Phillipsburg, prior to that he worked for Durnin and Goode Concrete in Upper Black Eddy and, at one time, owned the Eddy Hotel in Upper Black Eddy. He was a former member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church in Ottsville, PA and the Lester Pfeffer American Legion Post 611 in Easton. He enjoyed sports, especially football and was an avid Easton football fan.
Son of the late Natali and Lucia Condinzi Rossi, Vincenzi is survived by his beloved daughter Dawn Rossi of Springtown, PA and his granddaughter Taylor Stryker. He was predeceased by his two sons Lawrence and Mark Rossi, three brothers and a sister.
Graveside services will be private at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Haycock, PA. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
