William Dale Mowder, 53, of Holland Township, NJ passed away at home on Tuesday October 13, 2009 surrounded by his loving family.

Born January 9, 1956 in Milford, NJ, Dale lived most of his life in Holland Township, NJ and had lived in Williams Township, PA for 15 years. He graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 1974 and served in the US Navy during peacetime. Dale was an auto mechanic and the former owner of Bills Manor in Phillipsburg, NJ for 30 years. Dale had a pilots license and had built and flown his own planes. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley. Dale was a loving husband and father and loved his many pets.

Dale is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years Janet Cronce Mowder, his father William Floyd Mowder and his wife Laurie of Holland Township, three sons William S. and his companion Ashlie, J. Cody and his companion Jessica and Kale D. and his companion Jenna, two sisters Louann Purcell and her husband John and Susan Ulmer and her husband Raymond all of Easton, PA. He is also survived by his grandmother Ruth Mowder, many nieces and nephews, and was expecting his first grandchild in February of 2010. Dale was predeceased by his mother, Doris Jean Anderson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11 am at the Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 191 Rt. 627, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27, 2009 from 6-8 pm at the Calvary Bible Fellowship Church. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, Milford, NJ.
