William Joseph (Bill) Paleveda, Jr., 84, of Kennesaw, Georgia, died August 15, 2011 after a long illness.
He was born in Tampa, Florida on February 19, 1927. He graduated from Fordham University, served in the Navy, and
then thrived as a research chemist for Merck, where he helped develop
cortisone.
He is survived by two sons and their spouses, John and Ann, Joe and Eileen; his daughter, Cynthia Little; grandson and his spouse, Keefe and Joanna Bohannan, and great-grandchildren Sarah, Will, and Brad; his sisters Therese and Mary Anne; and countless other friends and family whom
were blessed to know him.
He was preceded in death by his parents William
and Louise Paleveda, wife Gloria; brother George; and sisters Lucille Craig and Doris Pupkiewicz and spouse Marian.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 5, 2012 at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ with Pastor Sue Moore officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Frenchtown Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest beside his loving
wife Gloria Sipes Paleved who passed away in 1999.
